Texas executes man for 2002 murder, kidnapping Apr 26th 2013, 00:05 Thu Apr 25, 2013 8:05pm EDT (Reuters) - Texas executed a man on Thursday convicted of murder after he and an accomplice robbed a convenience store in 2002, kidnapping two women who worked there along with a male customer who was later shot to death. Richard Cobb, 29, who was put to death by lethal injection, was pronounced dead at 6:27 p.m. CDT (7:27 p.m. EDT) at a state prison in Huntsville, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice said in a statement.
