Border Patrol agent shot dead, another wounded in Arizona Oct 2nd 2012, 13:16 Tue Oct 2, 2012 9:16am EDT (Reuters) - One U.S. Border Patrol agent was shot dead and another wounded while on patrol early on Tuesday in Naco, Arizona, the Border Patrol said. The wounded agent was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening wounds following the shooting at 1:50 a.m. local time, the Border Patrol said in a statement. Officials withheld the name of the dead agent pending notification of family. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cochise County Sheriff's Office were investigating, the Border Patrol said.
