Penn State agrees on $59.7 million child sex abuse settlement Oct 28th 2013, 17:46 Mon Oct 28, 2013 1:46pm EDT (Reuters) - Penn State has agreed to pay $59.7 million to settle claims with 26 child sex abuse victims of former football coach Jerry Sandusky, officials said on Monday. "The Board of Trustees has had as one of its primary objectives to reach settlements in a way that is fair and respects the privacy of the individuals involved," said Keith Masser, chair of the Board of Trustees.
